Did your giddy-up and go… get up and leave?
Have you been waiting on the Lord for so long that you’re starting to wonder if you heard Him right in the first place?
Shake that kind of thinking off.
Have you ever noticed how someone riding a horse for the first time grips the reins with white knuckles? You couldn’t pry those reins from their hands if you tried. But over time, as they grow more comfortable, their grip begins to loosen. That’s when a wise instructor steps in and says, “Relax, yes—but stay alert to the reins.”
That’s how it is with us.
When we were first called into our position in the Body of Christ, we were fired up—full of passion and zeal. But over time, as we wait and are shaped by the process, our grip can begin to slip… we start loosening the reins.
That’s why Paul said we must stir ourselves up.
So don’t give up.
Keep believing.
Keep receiving.
Keep praying in the Spirit.
And above all, stay strong in the Lord.
