✍🏻 go back and pick up that pen!

She added: “The most important thing is that I didn’t want to set myself up for failure and be like, ‘Look at me!’ I wanted to write the book that I needed when I was suffering.”

Facebook quote.

ie… She wanted to write the book that she wished she had had when she was going through all the trials and tribulations… A book that would explain what was going on around her is normal, and she’s not crazy.

Once again I remember my vision of a girl sitting on the couch next to the doors that lead to the deck overlooking the valley… Many mornings were spent there praying, reading, and studying to gain information in order to share the information so that all could better understand the call on their lives. But, there were so many preventions and hindrances to writing the book that overtime she lost hope. She lost in the excitement of writing a book. The warfare was too overwhelming, and she’s been defeated too many times to really care about getting up and starting again. It was a sad adventure… watching a heart struggle. A heart struggling to live with the decision her mind made to quit. Her heart filled with the Holy Spirit calling and beckoning to write for that girl on the end of the couch.

Overcome the mind and overcome the flesh that tries to tell you that ‘you have been there … done that, and don’t want to fight that battle again.’

Who are you going to listen to?
Answer your call!

🦅 Consider the Rapture

It begins with the rapture.. an event that can happen at any moment. Considering this sudden and final event will snap you into the alert mode, and it also sifts out a lot of temporal thoughts and plans. If you know that any moment that the whole world will face a huge change, and if you know that each and every life from this point on will never be the same, it can make you a serious thinker really quick.

Imagine that tomorrow you will not be here on earth, but instead, you will be in heaven… where is your family? your friends? Are they with you or did they get left behind? Do you have a ministry you are called to and have not fulfilled your task?

Deeply considering the Rapture is a very sobering thing to do. Let the Lord stir you deep within your heart. Let Him help you adjust your priorities.

Prepare now because there are many calling for the Lord Jesus to come…

Come Jesus Come

💛 Be Thankful

Be thankful

This is my first word for this morning when I woke up and desired just to sleep a little bit more

A sweet whispering, “be thankful you can get up.” And then the whispering went on … Be thankful you have a job, be thankful you have a vehicle to run your errands in, be thankful, …

There’re so many little small things that I’m complaining about… But,

Today I am thankful we can repent, turn from complaining, and be thankful.

Step Out

The valley of decision is a hard place. It’s a place of choosing spirit over flesh. Jesus tells us that our spirits are willing, but our flesh is weak. The valley of decision is where the winds of the Holy Spirit blow hard against us, whirling around and around giving us no peace until we let go of our comfort zones and yield to His changes in our lives. The valley is a good place to be… but we are not equipped to stay there long and the Holy Storm will blow on by. So choose to trust God and step out…

Be Wise In What You Watch

Be wise in what you watch…

It’s so easy to turn on the television and get lost in somebody else’s thoughts and in somebody else’s life. The television characters take our thoughts far away from our own daily activities. We no longer have to struggle to think right… we don’t have to think at all.

Yet, One day we’re going to wake up and realize that…

Proverbs 24:33-34

A little extra sleep, a little more slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest—
then poverty will pounce on you like a bandit;
scarcity will attack you like an armed robber.
