We refuse to listen to the witness of our senses. We accept the Word of God and act upon it. As surely as God sits on the throne, He will make that Word good in us. We do not ask for power, for He who is the power is in us. We do not ask for wisdom, for Christ was made wisdom unto us. We do not ask for Redemption, for He is our Redemption. We do not ask for Sanctification, for He is made unto us Sanctification. We do not ask for Righteousness, because He is made unto us Righteousness. This faith life is the most beautiful thing in the world. We step out of the old Sense realm where we have lived.
“He that hath the Son hath the life.” You have the Son; you have the Life. Now you may say, “I have taken Jesus Christ as my Savior. I have confessed Him as my Lord. God has given to me Eternal Life, His own nature. I am now a new creation, created in Christ Jesus, and I have God’s ability to perform the good works that were afore prepared that I should walk in them. “I have God’s ability because I have God’s nature. I have the same great, mighty Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwelling in me. “Greater is he that is in me, than he that is in the world.”
The following is an example of a healing prayer Gloria Copeland shared.
“Jesus is the Name above all names. His Name is above every sickness and disease, and every sickness and disease must bow to His Name. So, I speak the Name of Jesus over every part of my body today. I declare that His Name is driving out anything that is under the curse, because He has redeemed me from the curse!(Philippians 2:9; Galatians 3:13)”
I hear the voice of the Good Shepherd. I hear my Father’s voice, and the voice of a stranger I will not follow. I roll my works upon the Lord. I commit and trust them wholly to Him. He will cause my thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and so shall my plans be established and succeed ( John 10:27; Prov. 16:3).
