One of the things that has been going around and around in my heart is that we, the body of Christ, are not recognizing the privilege bestowed toward us when we are welcomed to His Kingdom and to His family. He owes us nothing. He does not beg. We’ve been invited, but it means we have to care enough to accept the invitation and take it seriously. Paul lets us know that not everybody can receive the deep things of God. It’s not a given… it takes our decision to grow up and be mature.

If we don’t press in, don’t expect to receive the deep things of God.
